COVID-19, Changes and Our Commitment

Dear all,


First and foremost, my thoughts are with those who have been particularly impacted by COVID-19.

We wish you, your families and your businesses well in these very uncertain times.

Following very recent developments and advice issued by the New Zealand government, our team are now effectively working remotely from home.

We want to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our people, clients and close contacts.


Our commitment to keep in contact

We wish to assure you however, we are fully committed to continue our delivery of services to you and we are available to assist in any way you may need.

We are maintaining close co-ordination of our whole team at Lynch & Associates through our IT and communication systems.

We are committed to keeping in contact with our clients, however we ask that wherever possible, you keep in touch with us, by phone or digitally (email etc).

Please keep in contact with us principally by email; or use of other digital platforms that you have access to such as Skype, Messenger, Zoom etc.

You can continue to reach us on our main phone line 09 366 6005, all our existing email addresses and mobile numbers.

In keeping contact with you this way, we will be maintaining the social distancing, the government is calling for as part of its COVID-19 measures.


End of tax year and client visits

We have been in contact with many of you, in relation to the filing of your tax returns by 31 March and any tax payments due.

We continue to work on our client tax returns falling due on 31 March as a key priority.

Please continue to keep in touch with us on any work or projects we have in progress for you including your annual tax return.

Where we are currently scheduled to meet with clients at your premises, including annual audits, we will be in touch with you to agree how to best facilitate these arrangements.

Chris is the founding Director of Lynch & Associates Limited.

He qualified as a CA in 1973 and is a full member of the College of NZICA now merged with CAANZ. His expertise is in the areas of tax, accounting, business development, forecasting, and auditing. He has a clear focus on adding value to his clients lives and businesses and seeing the people behind the numbers.

Chris experience includes working as a CFO and company secretary for some of New Zealand’s leading companies before starting his own CA firm in 1999. In his previous roles Chris has worked in the wool, dairy, engineering FCG, banking and investment banking and stock broking industries.

Today he uses this vast experience to assist his clients add value to their businesses and personal lives.
