The Art of Delivering Difficult Messages

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes simple conversations can become highly emotional. Experiences like these cannot be easily forgotten and might lead to conflict avoidance by changing the subject, putting off a discussion until later, or simply not bringing up the subject at all.

Learning to communicate difficult messages is one of the most important personal, professional development skill a leader can have.

We play the role of a leader in so many situations: at work, at home, in our neighborhood, as a child, as a teenager, as a parent.

Leadership is present in all our aspects of life: External world: work and family and our internal world: self.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR

  • Anyone who is struggling for words when they must deliver a 'difficult to communicate' message.
  • Anyone who would like to know how to be direct and avoid mixed messages.
  • Anyone who would like to become equipped to deliver difficult messages effectively while coping with awkward reactions or responses to the message they deliver.

Learn how to be better equipped as a leader and discover what holds you back from communicating the 'not so good’ news.

In this 2.5 HOUR interactive workshop you'll also discover:

  • Confidence within yourself when communicating or dealing with the many personalities you encounter every day in your personal life and at work.
  • The ability to navigate social situations with grace, so there are no hard feelings while finding a diplomatic way to communicate.
  • Setting a good example by practising integrity and honesty in all dealings.
